Jamaica Plain Patch: This season’s JP Forum was kicked off at the First Church in Jamaica Plain Unitarian Universalist on Friday evening with a program called “Tar Sands Action: A Report Back.” A mixture of both the political and the personal, speakers at the event showed slides, discussed the controversial energy project, and described their participation at the recent protests in Washington, D.C., where they all were arrested.
