Storm victims urged avoid contact with floodwaters as they return home

Guardian: Communities affected by the most devastating tidal surge in 60 years along the coast of Britain have been warned to avoid direct contact with floodwater and beware of rats moving into homes. Thousands of people who were evacuated from their homes will be assessing the damage after being allowed to return to their properties yesterday.
