Mongabay: Work on the controversial Xayaburi dam in the People's Democratic Republic of Lao has been officially suspended, reports Reuters. "The Lao government decided to postpone it," Foreign Minister Thongloun Sisoulith was quoted as saying Friday. "We have to do further studies."
