At least 50 forest activists held in capital

Himalayan: Police held at least 50 activists from Federation of Community Forest Users Nepal (FECOFUN), the umbrella body of community forest users, after they tried to padlock the office of the Department of Forest to protest the government move to amend the Nepal Forest Act 2049, on Sunday morning.
