Deutsche-Presse Agentur: Dust topped the agenda of scientists meeting in California Friday, where a symposium tackled such issues as how newly freed-up dust from Arctic glaciers would affect climate and human health. "When the glaciers in the north melt, their run-off carries the fine, ground-up rock that had been buried in the ice," atmospheric researcher Joseph Prospero of the University of Miami told the German Press Agency dpa.
