Pennsylvania Aims to Increase Oversight of Fracking Industry

Yahoo!: In response to the overwhelming popularity of natural gas drilling in the Marcellus Shale region, the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection is set to announce a reorganization. As a result of the reorganization, a stand-alone Oil and Gas Bureau will oversee regulation of the natural gas industry in Pennsylvania. The move is an effort by Gov. Tom Corbett's administration to better monitor what is becoming an extremely important business in the state.
