Contra Costa Times: Superstorm Sandy has caused coastal communities across the country to ask how they can protect themselves from inevitable severe storms and sea-level rise intensified by climate change. The Bay Area will face an increasing threat of destructive storms with impacts like those in New York and New Jersey.
