AOL News: Jamestown, Va., the site of the first permanent English colony in what became the United States, could be wiped off the map by climate change, researchers warned today. As the polar ice caps melt, rising sea levels could completely swamp the historical location that has stood as an icon of American history for the past 400 years, according to a new study by the Natural Resources Defense Council and the Rocky Mountain Climate Organization.
