Pakistan has yet to learn how to deal with natural calamities, say experts

Express Tribune: Though massive floods have swept through the country in three consecutive years, environmentalists feel that the government has not taken them as a cue to better prepare themselves for the next time disaster strikes. At a seminar on climate change held on Saturday at the Karachi Press Club, experts said that the government has turned a blind eye to the fact that Pakistan is losing billions of dollars because of its changing ecology.
