Charles Veitch Bio

Charles Veitch is a conservation biologist and Chief fundraiser at Ecological Internet. He holds a Masters degree in Conservation Biology from the University of Kent, and a BSc in Environmental science from the University of the West of England.

He has a deep interest in environmental issues, especially the use of natural materials in daily life and the sustainable production of non-timber forest products to reduce deforestation and earn an income for the world’s poor.  

He enjoys travelling, having lived in Africa and South America for many years, organic vegetable growing, reggae music, walking, and playing the guitar badly. He lives in rural France with his pregnant wife Camille, in an old farm house they are restoring.
