AAP: A “historic” deal has been signed between NSW and the Commonwealth, securing $80m for water infrastructure projects along the Murray-Darling Basin. Guardian: A short tunnel extension could save up to one-third of the ancient woodland threatened by the HS2 high-speed rail project, campaigners say.
